The payroll coordinator is charged with helping process a weekly payroll in an accurate and timely manner using an automated payroll system and time keeping system. The payroll coordinator must be able to respond to payroll-related questions from employees be able to make all the necessary corrections/adjustments to an employee?s pay check. Essential Job Functions Work under the direction of the Payroll Supervisor in processing a weekly payroll. Provide excellent customer service to all employees and assigned stores. Review payroll runs, analyze error reports and make adjustments to resolve problems. Time Management System (ADP E-Time). Work with Finance department to reconcile payroll liabilities to the general ledger and prepare adjusting journal entries. Work with Leave Coordinators to ensure proper use of vacation and sick time during approved LOAs. Work with ADP in the processing of garnishments, child support deductions, tax levies etc. Responsible for setting up employee direct deposits and other employee approved payroll adjustments (W4, uniforms etc.) Monitors unclaimed payroll checks. Remains current on federal and state payroll tax law changes, retirement, benefits, wage assignments and other applicable laws and regulations affecting payroll. Advise employees regarding issues/questions relative to payroll processing and paycheck inquires including adherence to company policy relative to earnings and deductions. Works closely with timekeepers making sure the weekly time file is accurate and ready for payroll processing. This role is the primary back up for the Payroll Supervisor; process entire payroll on a rotating basis, ability to process payroll in supervisor?s absence including paycheck issuance, remittance of withholding liabilities to federal government and other outside agencies; prepare quarterly and annual tax reports.Must have strong ADP experience at least 2 years.



Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
