.NET Developer needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client Phoenix AZ.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Working with analysts and designers to understand the requirements of assignments.
- Design, code, and test enhancements to existing applications.
- Fixing reported bugs.
- Work with project managers to determine time estimates and delivery dates for assigned tasks.
- Writes specifications for programs changes.
- Follows development process and creates appropriate documentation in work assignments such as program code, and technical documentation.
- Evaluates system application needs based on user requests.
- Recommends system solutions.
- Communicates with the requestor, as necessary, to clarify user requests.
- Following established development life cycle to develop, test, and modify system software, utilities, and other application software by Coding, reviewing, preparing test data, testing, and debugging.
What You Need To Bring To The Table:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, Business Administration, or related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three to five (3 - 5) years of experience .NET Web development.
- Proficiency in SQL Server 2005/2008 must be able to write and debug stored procedures, C#, .NET frameworks, ASP .NET, Javascript, JQuery.
- Strong skill sets on debugging SQL stored procedures, triggers, Views, Query Optimization Techniques and query hints.
- The ability to multi-task and maintain organization in a hectic environment.
- Team player contributes to a positive work environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially with customers.
- Knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, and other PC applications
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret business requirements, system documentation, and technical procedures.
- Considers the business and operating environment of the company when making decisions and recommendations.
- Develops, fosters, and maintains an open, professional relationship between IS and other departments to enhance client satisfaction
- Secures relevant information, integrates data from different sources, and identifies possible causes of problems.
- Develops alternative courses of action and makes decisions based on logical assumptions that reflect factual information.
- Generates and/or recognizes creative solutions and innovations in work related situations to mitigate risks to project success.
- Encourages and facilitates the transfer of information, experience, and technology both within and across project and departmental boundaries.
