The Salvation Army in Phoenix, Arizona is looking to fill a Maintenance Technician position at our Herberger Center Campus.
The successful candidate for this position will have previous maintenance experience specifically in the areas of Electrical wiring, Plumbing, HVAC and general maintenance upkeep & repair.

Qualifications:
High School Graduate or GED recipient 3 years maintenance experience Working knowledge of the following:
Electrical wiring Plumbing HVAC General maintenance upkeep & repair Computer literate in MS Office Suite Ability to pass PTM background check & maintain a fingerprint clearance card Current Arizona Drivers License
Responsibilities:
Repair and maintain facilities in excellent condition at all times Assure the timely response to requests for maintenance service Provide a weekly report of changes and improvement and maintenance activities Assist in the maintenance of accurate files and records of all property projects Follow through with the written plan for regular inspection and preventative maintenance to promote the soundness and safety of the program's premises, equipment, and fixtures.
Assist in keeping records of non-Salvation Army inspections, licenses as applicable, and other official documents dealing with safety and facility maintenance and hold them in the maintenance office's permanent files and, where required, ensure that they are posted.
Maintain accurate files and records of assigned projects Monitor and maintain air conditioning, heating, ventilation and refrigeration systems as needed to peak energy performance and optimum temperature settings.
Coordinate all purchases of materials, supplies and equipment as needed with the DPC Available as necessary for Emergency Services Assist with support for special events as assigned Assist with contractors in supervision of service agreement, and warranties.
Conduct monthly fire, life, safety inspections of all campus buildings and grounds.
Conduct quarterly inspections with DPC Plan and complete all work to be done on a daily basis, with a minimum of inconvenience to employees, clients and the operations of TSA Report all accidents/incidents to DPC in a timely manner.
Be concerned with maintaining compliance with PTM, OSHA, fire and safety laws, and the ADA, and recommend or take action to insure compliance with supervisory approval.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Must have the ability to operate telephone, a desktop or laptop computer, as well as the ability to access and produce information from a computer, and to understand written information.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
