Data Center Security Technician We are looking for 6 data center security technicians in the Phoenix Arizona area to start on or before 10/16/23.
There is no longer a COVID vaccination requirement - All applicants applying will be required to submit to a background and drug screen.
This is a contract/contract to hire role for a major data center in the Phoenix Arizona area The starting rate range is $26 -29 per hour W2 - Candidates must be willing to be onsite during the core hours of 7am-4pm - The conversion salary is $50,000 - $60,000 Main Duties/Required Skills:

Security Technicians to support the development of the security division.
Technicians that have previous commercial security experience to include cabling rough in, cable terminations (both mechanical and solder), device trim out (doors, access card readers, cameras, etc.
)Install security devices and hardware (DPS, card readers, REX, mag-locks, strikes, cameras)Installation/decommissioning of network and cabling infrastructure in a Data Center environment.
Delivery Provide structured feedback on project progress to Stakeholders.
Exhibit quality workmanship on all work and maintain Data Center cleanliness.
Follow all production, safety and quality standards, codes, and industry best practices.
Collaborate with various Stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
Reading and comprehending blueprints and building documentation/redline work.
Broad understanding of Data Center infrastructure technologies.
Main Duties / Required:
Knowledge of inscribing IP addresses on cameras Knowledge of the Lenel brand Knowledge and use of basic telecom hand tools.
Accept responsibility of outcome of work performed.
Must understand customer service.
Clear understanding of job safety requirements.
Be able to read and understand job floor plan.
Should be familiar on wiring schemes and wiring testing.
Should be able to pull all types of low voltage cable.
Should understand and be capable in performing field terminations and labeling.
Capable of maintaining orderly paperwork, capable of running midsize projects and service jobs.
Possess skill to layout MDF and IDF closets, be able to dress all types of cable and perform all types of terminations.
Capable of working in Data Centers.
Shall be able to work on analog, DSL and be able to extend T1 lines.
BE able to patch network equipment.
Basic understanding of both copper and fiber cable testing and troubleshooting.
Reports to Operations Manager and take daily directions from Technician, Technician II, Lead Technicians, Senior Technicians and Advance Senior Technicians.
Troubleshooting of copper and fiber cables Work on analog lines and extend T1 connections Possess skills to layout MDF and IDF closets Direct/supervise others to perform tasks Decommission fiber trunks and jumpers Troubleshoot fiber circuits (Versiv OLTS, OTDR) Perform fiber splicing (OSP, ISP, SM, MM) Conduct and supervise Service Swaps Nice to have Skills:
LEB Certifications desired not required BICSI and industry Certifications are desired not required Key Skills Data Center Cabling Security OSHA10 Aerial Lift Fiber Cable Technician Cat5 Bachelor's Degree Requirement:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
