Responsibilities:
Product Vision:
Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for payments solutions, aligned with business goals and customer needs. Requirement Gathering:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements, ensuring that features are well-defined, achievable, and aligned with business priorities. Feature Prioritization:
Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value, customer impact, and technical feasibility. Make data-driven decisions and adjust priorities as needed. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to translate requirements into actionable user stories and specifications. Ensure clear communication and alignment across teams. Release Planning:
Drive the release planning process, including defining release scope, timelines, and dependencies. Coordinate with development teams to ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements. User
Experience:
Champion a user-centric approach to product development, ensuring that payment solutions are intuitive, seamless, and meet the needs of our customers. Market Analysis:
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes related to payments. Use insights to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement. Quality Assurance:
Collaborate with quality assurance teams to define acceptance criteria and ensure that delivered features meet quality standards and customer expectations. Feedback Management:
Gather feedback from internal stakeholders, customers, and partners. Use feedback to iterate on product features and drive continuous improvement. Performance Monitoring:
Monitor key performance metrics related to payment solutions, identify areas for improvement, and drive initiatives to optimize performance and increase customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering, or related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus. Proven experience as a product owner or product manager, preferably in the payments industry. Strong understanding of payment technologies, including card payments, digital wallets, and alternative payment methods. Experience with agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, JIRA). Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely. Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions and prioritize effectively. Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams. Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.
