Job Duties:
Develop, deliver, and maintain computer applications for Supply Chain and Warehousing business units.
Provide support for Tier 1 applications in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud and ensure the smooth and timely delivery of new projects in collaboration with the project leads and managers.
Analyze and understand business requirements and then provide technical solutions to those business requirements and make the necessary software enhancements.
Translate customer requirements into technical documents and provide direction to software development teams to ensure software is developed to meet customer needs.
Configure and implement new software features in third-party vendor applications and support existing third-party logistics PO Management system and NVOCC system.
Write efficient and testable code, build reusable software components, and create code documentation.
Enforce coding standards and best practices to consistently deliver high quality software products.
Ensure applications continue to operate properly by identifying software defects ( bugs ), troubleshooting those bugs, and removing bugs from the computer software.
Collaborate with other computer specialists and coordinate with multiple technical teams on project deliverables and timelines.
Work with external vendors and third parties for end-to-end EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) integration.
Education Required:
Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or any engineering-related field (e.
g.
, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, Information Technology).
Experience Required:
5 years of progressive experience as Software Engineer, Systems Administrator, or related occupation.
Special RequirementsMust have at least 1 year of prior work experience in each of the following:
Developing front-end screens using JavaScript, jQuery, JSP, Ajax, and CSS.
Developing applications using Java/J2EE, Spring, and Hibernate.
Developing Web Services including SOAP or RESTful.
Working with SQL Databases including Oracle or MySQL.
Writing test cases using JUnit, EasyMock, or Mockito.
Resolving merge conflicts, reviewing code changes, managing branches, and building applications using version control tools including GIT or CVS.
Deploying artifacts on Cloud computing platform including AWS (Amazon Web Services) or Microsoft Azure.
Occasional telecommuting permitted (hybrid).

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
