Maitre D / Event Coordinator duties and responsibilitiesPerform research in order to gain deep understanding of different requirements and details of each eventPlan and organize events in accordance with financial and time restraintsResearch and book appropriate venuesPlan, schedule and organize time slots and speakers at event Meet with clients and coordinate with them regularlyLook for and compare different vendors (catering, decorators, musicians etc.
) Negotiate with vendors Hire, train and oversee staffEvaluate personnelHandle, coordinate and oversee all event operationsTrack the overall even expenses regularlyCarefully supervise event preparation activitiesOffer solutions to resolve problems in a timely mannerAnalyze and evaluate event's resultscreate and present reports.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
