Job summaryAWS Strategic Accounts is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to help develop key insights and reporting connected to Amazon Web Services (AWS) Sales.
This person will own developing and executing on a roadmap of analytical work to deepen our understanding of this Strategic Accounts segment, and use findings to drive change that will result in better results for AWS and its customers.
This team will also own establishing metrics and building new reporting and dashboards to bring visibility to key inputs and outputs to AWS senior leaders and the broader AWS organization.
This is a high profile role and requires an individual with outstanding business acumen, and the ability to work across various functional teams and internal partner teams.

Key job responsibilities1.
This analyst will be responsible for the evaluation and promotion of core customer data in partnership with the sales leadership team.

This will include the discovery and presentation of usage patterns, key performance indicators, sales forecasting, quarterly reporting, and data support for narratives.

We will evaluate success of this role through the automation of key reporting information, a reduction in time spent by sales leaders uncovering data, simplification of our data strategy, and an impact on data presentation across our accounts.

Additionally this person will provide analytics with and for our customers to help drive cost efficiencies across their AWS usage patterns.
They will partner with AWS OPTICS on cost optimization initiatives with our customers, as measured through customer utilization and efficiency.
A day in the lifeThis person will 1/interview stakeholders in the AWS business to discover latent pain in data discovery, 2/based on results will find patterns and practices to expose that data (proactively) to sales leadership and the account teams, 3/based on developing knowledge, define new data strategies for the team to leverage and drive business intelligence into every aspect of our decision making, and 4/investigate AI/ML tools for predictive and perceptive data analysis.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
