Summary:
The Department of Economic Security, Division of Business Services, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as the Marketing Coordinator for the Office of Employee Engagement.
Under the direction of the Employee Engagement Program Manager, the Marketing Coordinator provides support with employee engagement initiatives ensuring that all program projects enhance and build the image of the employee engagement program.
Job Duties:
As part of the team, collaborates on the conceptualization and execution of employee engagement activities.
Responsible for a wide range of project activities to coordinate and track all critical and time sensitive actions received from the internal and external stakeholders.
Participates in the conceptualization of design solutions that meet promotion strategies from initiation to completion.
Performs research, assists with written content, edits and produces a variety of electronic media.
Develops and maintains centralized promotion calendar of employee engagement activities.
Collaborates and contributes to the employee engagement weekly newsletter and targeted email campaigns, assembling content, and tracking results.
Maintains and improves the effectiveness of the employee engagement website.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):
Knowledge of the concepts of program planning and and design.
Knowledge of internal communications and engagement strategies.
Knowledge of digital marketing management tools and systems such as Google Workspace and Adobe Creative Suite programs, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
Skill in communicating effectively both verbally and in writing.
Skill in creating and maintaining statistical analysis and reports.
Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships and connections with people from diverse backgrounds.
Skill in handling detailed work with accuracy and speed.
Ability to problem-solve, exercising judgement and resourcefulness, within parameters of defined procedures and practices.
Ability to prioritize, manage various administrative functions applying effective time management.
Ability to communicate with internal and external customers with tact and diplomacy while using discretion with confidential or sensitive information.
Selective Preference(s):
Bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism, Multimedia, Marketing, Public Relations, or Business from an accredited college or university.
Three years professional level Executive Assistant/Marketing Coordinator responsibilities with senior level management, creative design and marketing campaigns or an equivalent combination of experience, training, and/or education.
Pre-Employment Requirements:
