The Generalist will use a Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to ensure all employee records are up-to-date and confidential.
This position also serves as the main point of contact for employee inquiries on HR-related topics.

Responsibilities:
Provides exceptional customer service.
Administers compensation and benefit plans.
Assists in talent acquisition and recruitment processes.
Conducts employee onboarding.
Organizes employee training and development initiatives.
Provides support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues.
Promotes HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
Assists in the development and implementation of human resource policies.
Undertakes tasks around performance management.
Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates.
Maintains employee files and records in electronic and paper form.
Enhances job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying for new perks and benefits, and organizing team-building activities.
Ensures compliance with labor regulations.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent communication and people skills.
Aptitude in problem-solving.
Good knowledge of employment/labor laws.
Understand if general human resources policies and procedures.
Proven experience as an HR Generalist.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, associate degree in business and prior relevant experience will be considered.
At least one year of related experience is required.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
