MULTIPLE POSITIONS :
Avanade Inc.
seeks Cloud Transformation Infrastructure Architects in Phoenix, AZ to lead the design, installation, and configuration of enterprise technology architecture solutions including components of security, availability/fail-over and OS/compute, storage, database, operations, and network infrastructures in Microsoft or multi-vendor environments.
You will:
plan and design the desired relationships and operating models across our clients' software, hardware, networks, people and operations, to effectively operate in a Cloud oriented environment; apply expertise in technical and consulting knowledge to advise clients on proper governance to ensure stability, and to enable them to evolve their environments to support changing business requirements; coordinate team operations in all phases of Avanade projects (Plan, Analyze, Design, Build, test, and Deploy); maintain customer relationships, assist in proposal development, evaluate change requirements, and contribute with pre-sales and marketing/PR activities; serve as a trusted advisor in advising clients on an overall IT plan; work and interact directly w/client leadership and technical stakeholders to ensure smooth and successful design and implementation of complex solutions; define information technology operations, processes, procedures and toolsets to manage and maintain requirements; manage change plan implementation to ensure successful project delivery and deployment; and provide leadership to ensure effective team utilization and partnership with off-shore resources to achieve project objectives.
Periodic travel to client sites is expected.
Must live w/in reasonable commuting distance of Phoenix, AZ.
Basic
Qualifications:
The position requires a bachelor's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, Information Technology, or related technical field, plus at least seven (7) years of experience in the job offered, or in a similar role in a technology or consulting environment.
Alternatively, in lieu of a bachelor's degree and seven (7) years of experience, the employer will accept no degree and nine (9) years of experience in the job offered, or in a similar role in a technology or consulting environment.
The employer deems that any suitable combination of education or experience is acceptable.
A qualified applicant's experience must include:
7 years of experience working with full lifecycle (functional/technical) aspects of IT infrastructure services with enterprise customers; 7 years of experience delivering Microsoft infrastructure solutions, data center operations, platform migration, and enterprise directory services; 7 years of experience in operation management, systems security, and testing; 7 years of experience developing infrastructure solutions using Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager, Windows Desktop Management, and Windows Desktop Deployment; 2 years of experience facilitating project work within a global team and leading onshore/offshore technical teams in the implementation/deployment of infrastructure solutions; 2 years of experience creating and presenting to client stakeholders creative solutions to technical problems in the areas of System Center Configuration Manager, Windows Intune, Active Directory, and Windows Desktop deployment; 4 years of experience communicating and presenting complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders; and 4 years of experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM).
