Summary:
The Marketing Communications Engagement Specialist will assist with the development of marketing and communications efforts for the organization.
This position will assist with content development/creation for both internal and external communications, including topical/project research, generation of written communications aligned with brand tone and voice, and coordination of distribution of the created content.

Collaborates with project team to fully understand project goals and communication needs.
Gathers the materials necessary to understand the project and competition in the area such as literature or previous marketing campaigns; analyzes these materials to determine the most effective communications technique.
Based on assessment, drafts, and proposes communications campaigns which may include social and online media, print media, direct mail, and other multimedia.
Conducts topical/project research to generate original copy content and written communications for both internal and external campaigns, web content, and social networks.
Assists with maintaining external vendor partner relationships in areas including social media, public relations, design services, promotional products, and review/reputation management.
Schedules and develops video content opportunities to create educational content.
Evaluates success of campaigns when completed through analyzing data from indicators including Google analytics, CTR, impressions, likes, engagements, split testing, and so forth.
Attends trade shows and community fairs/events and staffs the company booth.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong writing skills to assist with creation of original copy content for internal and external campaigns, web content, and social networks.
Strong verbal communication skills that may include public speaking and presentations.
Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to prioritize, manage project schedules and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite required.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as a member of a team.
Education and
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Journalism, Advertising, Communications, or related field.
3 to 5 years of related experience; portfolio of relevant previous projects highly preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Routine use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers and fax machines.
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times and construct pop-up event displays.
