Summary:
The Elections Technology Training and Support Specialist works with the other team members and the Elections Technology Team.
This role focuses on fielding Educational Opportunities and questions that statewide users may encounter while using the state-run election systems.
Prerequisite knowledge of election systems is not a requirement for this role, however a general understanding of websites and software is needed.
This role will provide regular online presentations to deliver training to users on how to best utilize the state-run systems.
These trainings are held in a group or one on one setting.
This role will also provide support through Email and Ticketing Systems to help answer questions, and provide basic trouble shooting that may come up while using the system.
Will also work on developing and maintaining a Knowledge Base resource for users to access previous trainings.
Job Duties:
50% Training Building Curriculum and Presentations for future training Meeting with counties in one-on-one meetings to assist in training opportunities Organizing and scheduling group training presentations Delivering regular group training presentations through Teams Maintaining a Knowledge Base for users to view previous trainings and possible help articles Maintaining user guides in the system50% Helpdesk Support Answering Emails that are sent to the team that require additional follow up Managing and identifying tickets that are educational opportunities Providing support to Triage calls to assist with Basic Troubleshooting Reaching out to counties when we are unable to define or replicate a potential issue in the systemKnowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):
