Capital Accounting, PC Capital Accounting, PC Phoenix, AZ Phoenix, AZ Full-time Full-time $25 - $35 an hour $25 - $35 an hour Income Tax Preparer / Certified Public Accountant (CPA) We are seeking an Income Tax Preparer or a CPA to complement our strong, mutually supportive existing staff.
Primary duties will include:
- Individual / Corporate / Partnership tax preparation - Assist with client projects as assigned - Work with a team on tax and accounting projects - Primary on client relationships as assigned - Assisting with workflow on office projects with the staff - Training and developing other staff Requirements include:
- Previous experience in tax preparation.
Several years of tax season experience in a public accounting firm.
- Efficiency in QuickBooks and General Ledger accounting experience.
- Pro Series Tax Software exposure/experience a plus but not mandatory - Proficient with MS Word and Excel.
We are looking for someone that displays the following traits:
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task, manage, and prioritize frequently changing situations without losing efficiency or composure.
- Detail and deadline driven.
- Take ownership and pride in their work, including tax preparation from start to finish error-free.
February 1 through April 15th will require working over 50 hours per week.
Mandatory day Saturdays during tax season.
The position is immediately available--long-term hire.
Compensation based on experience.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
