Under the direction of the Director of Marketing, the Account Manager will proactively cultivate current client relationships to grow Safestor Tenant Insurance participation in their assigned book of business.
The Account Manager will work with local and national team members to consult and service Safestor clients within the self-storage industry.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
An account manager should be able to work well in a team environment and feel comfortable working in a feedback culture.
ResponsibilitiesRetain and grow current client relationshipsVerbally communicate with each customer and practice integrity in each conversationActively seek to understand each customer's needs and goals through consistent verbal contactSecure customer rapport through genuine and exceptionally responsive interactionsProactive customer service with current clientsBecome an expert in the competitive environment and be able to communicate regarding competitive offerings while effectively positioning Safestor as the best Tenant Insurance choice for assigned locations.
QualificationsOne or more years of experience in account managementAbility to achieve goals and determine prioritiesOrganized with strong time managementAbility to travel up to 30%Self-motivated and self-disciplined and provide prompt follow-up to all customer inquiriesStrong presentation and leadership skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPractical knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPointThis job requires successful completion of the Arizona Property & Casualty License within 60 days of being hired.
Training and study material will be provided.
Insurance experience is not required.
Training will be provided.
Education/Training:
A Bachelor's degree in communications, business management or the equivalent experience is preferred.
Commission/Bonus:
