Our Phoenix branch is looking for a new Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our Contract Logistics team.
YOUR ROLEUnder the guidance of the Regional Lead Engineer & National Master Black Belt, you will support multiple area operations and customers as Continuous Improvement Engineer including the Phoenix, Tucson & Casa Grande Areas.
Support in the development of Kuehne and Nagel excellence levels, training and mentorship of Lean Six Yellow Belts.
Support in the development of productivity management tools (GRIP) within their sphere of influence.
Please note that due to the nature of the contracts held by some facilities you will need a Citizenship or Permanent Resident Card of the USA.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES You will be responsible and accountable for the CI site project programs, including the management of Kaizen activities and Lean Six.
Delivery of the project portfolio's resulting from DDVSA activity.
Align projects and CI activity to meet both KNPS Savings targets and Site productivity improvement targets.
You will deliver DDVSA 6 Week programs as agreed with Operations and the KNPS Regional Lead Engineer.
Management of CI Tracker to ensure savings for sites are validated with financial controllers and data integrity is maintained.
Develop productivity management tools within the sites to ensure measurement and monitoring of productivity at process and site level.
Support operations in the development of Kuehne and Nagel excellence levels on site from Blue through Gold.
You will work with the Regional Lead Engineer & National MBB development of the LSS YB, developing important individuals on site.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES Bachelor's degree in Industrial engineering, Supply chain, or equivalent experience.
Lean experience of 3
years with certification or equivalent experience.
Contract logistics management experience for 1
years.
1
years of Continuous Improvement experience.
