Summary:
The Marketing Specialist position is responsible for all marketing oversight, development, implementation and management.
The position works closely with the Chairman/CEO, President and Corporate Administrator.
The Marketing Specialist is also required to work closely with all team members to ensure all marketing products are developed and executed efficiently; timelines are developed, and communication with the team and/or clients to ensure that all final deliverable meet their expectations.
This position requires the management of multiple marketing activities/projects simultaneously.
Core Duties and
Responsibilities:
The Marketing Specialist will be involved in a variety of tasks in all areas of Blue Stone's marketing activities, but not limited to:
Utilizes multiple media resources to gather industry-relevant data to assist in business development, marketing, and public relations to aid in building the Blue Stone brand and services.
Gathers and tracks data about relevant current events in Indian County and distributes them to the Blue Stone Team to assist in the creation of eblasts.
Provides research for thought leadership, articles, press releases, website content and other Blue Stone communications.
Develops strategic and imaginative marketing plans.
Provides recommendations to establish creative direction.
Manages and researches the Blue Stone database; performs database updates and maintenance.
Coordinates regional and national conferences, identifies speaking and sponsorship opportunities, team involvement, booth securement with presentation materials developed, and other duties as assigned.
Manages all social media marketing duties including press lists, press releases, blog releases, bio writing, website monitoring, press release calendar, and event coordination and planning.
Drafts documents, graphics, and presentations as needed including final presentations and case studies for assigned projects.
Manages client relations and targets market outreach through all communication outlets.
Business Development Support Assists in managing outstanding client relations through all communication outlets.
Updates/manages current database(s).
Coordinates with Tribal Advisors.
Cultivates current and new Tribal relationships.
Participates on project teams, providing support and/or gathering necessary resources as they pertain to your area of expertise.
Updates marketing pipeline(s) and submits weekly, on Fridays.
Gathers data related to weekly and ongoing business development and project work.
Drafts documents, graphics, and presentations as needed including final presentations and case studies.
Tracks weekly activity along with hourly tracking to be submitted on the Blue Stone Strategy Partners weekly/job tracking form.
Maintains a high level of confidentiality.

Ability to work independently and also in a team setting, with the ability to self-manage time and ensure deadlines are met with efficiency and high quality.
Strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills.
Strong knowledge of various marketing and analytics tools and management systems.
Skilled in writing and editing content with an attention to detail.
Native-Americans preferred or someone with long term experience working with Tribal governments, Tribal enterprises, Native American NGO's, Native publications, media or the desire to work with Tribal operations.
Education And
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business Marketing, Communications, or related field from an accredited college or University; or extensive relevant work experience or training, and equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for this position.
Five years of relevant marketing experience Work Environment:
