The Phoenix Citadel Corps for The Salvation Army is looking to fill a Maintenance Tech/Driver position.
The successful candidate for this position will have previous maintenance experience and work well with vendors and other employees with minimal supervision.
The position is benefit eligible and comes with vacation, sick, health, vision, life insurance, free Kroc membership and more.
The Maintenance/Driver position will be responsible for the general maintenance duties at the Phoenix Citadel Corps.
Maintenance duties will include completing daily, weekly and monthly checklists on building equipment and records of scheduled maintenance.
This position will perform preventative maintenance including Caulking windows and doors, routine maintenance such as plumbing repairs, unstopping toilets, electrical repairs such as changing light bulbs or ballasts and assembling furniture, hanging pictures and bulletin boards.
This position will assist with driving and pick ups for Corps programming including after school pick-ups, Wednesday evening program transportation, Sunday School and special event pickups.
This position will also assist with transportation during the Christmas season.
Other duties will include oversight and assistance with Janitorial responsibilities for the Corps building both inside and out.
This person will monitor and schedule maintenance on Corps vehicles and maintain files for them.
This position will ensure an adequate inventory of supplies, cleaning materials and tools.
The Maintenance Tech/Driver will supervise all vendors working on property, inspect the completed project and sign-off for payment.
QUALIFICATIONS Must have a High School Diploma or GED certificate Must be 21 or over Ability to follow directions Minimum of three years Maintenance/Janitorial/Custodian experience Must have experience working with vendors to obtain Bids and monitor contractor's activities while on property Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision Must possess a positive and professional attitude Bilingual Spanish/English preferred Plumbing/RVAC experience preferred Must possess a valid Food Handlers Card Must possess a valid Arizona Driver's License Must satisfactorily participate in the Driver Fleet Safety Program Must possess a valid Arizona Passenger CDL within 90 days of hire date Must be able to lift 50 pounds Ability to maintain confidentiality Must be able to multitask and work in a team environment PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
