Responsibilities:
Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors, in-process parts being manufactured, and outgoing products for shipping.
Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations.
Read blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand the requirements of products and services.
Measure product dimensions, examine functionality, and compare the final product to the specifications.
Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control.
Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.
Teach the production team about quality control concerns to improve product excellence.
Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
Minimum Job Requirement:
Must be 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Citizen Must not be:
prohibited from handling or working in proximity to firearms based on laws and regulations outlined and enforced by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, & Explosives (BTAFE), or outlined in the Gun Control Act (GCA 1968), or outlined in the National Firearms Act (NFA 1934), or a prohibited possessor as outlined by Arizona State Statute (ARS 13-3101) Knowledge and experience of MS Office.
Good math and technical skills Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.
Ability to read, interpret and understand drawings/blueprints with a basic understanding of GD&T.
Ability to use basic measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, height gauge) Must be comfortable working around firearms.
Exceptional Organizational Skills Ability to work with multi-functional teams.
Preferred Knowledge and
Qualifications:
Knowledge of and experience with International Standard Organization (ISO) requirements Knowledge of FAR and DFAR requirements and procedures Awareness and Understanding of Mil-Std packaging and labeling.
Certification in quality control A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
Experience operating a CMM.
