Sr. Supply Chain Engineer (Hybrid Or Remote)

The role of the Sr.
Supply Chain Engineer is to identify and lead operations and process improvement strategies within home DC.
As Sr.
SC Engineer, he/she will lead Engineering initiatives for the supply chain network.
The Sr.
SC Engineer should possess above average capabilities in process improvement, lean methods implementation, slotting, labor management, and/or project management.
Duties and Responsibilities Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing processes and systems, and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging them Collaborate with the Supply Chain personnel, management, IT and Corporate cross functional partners to ensure adequate flow of information is communicated between departments Research, plan and execute Process Improvement initiatives in the Distribution Centers, and across the entire supply chain Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business requirements, goals, and identify/resolve gaps Pursue a discipline of project and process results validation against business case by partnering with relevant operations and engineering teams.
Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential problem areas in Supply Chain Processes and systems across the organization.
Collaborate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new processes and applications.
Ongoing responsibility for keeping processes standard across the supply chain network.
Development and management of methodologies to calculate optimal system settings (case packs, ship units) to reduce network operating costs.
Develop analysis, databases, scorecards, dashboards, and exception reports to pinpoint opportunities for improvement in the supply chain network.
Research and determine applicability of new technologies throughout the supply chain Provide technical expertise and support to capital project planning and execution Lead cross functional, network wide projects and improvement initiatives Mentor junior SC Engineers Flexible and adaptable in regards to learning and understanding new technologies.

Scope (Required) Supervises staff - Supervises staff (#1-5) Financial Scope - Responsible for creating ROI and supporting P&L savings Organizational Scope - Corp/ Distribution Centers Decision Making - Responsible for executing and leading Engineering activities within DC and network Travel - 15% to 25% Education (Required)BS or MS in Industrial EngineeringSkills (Required) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Highly self-motivated and directed Keen attention to detail Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Applications Advanced proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access Advanced proficiency in Visual Basic, MS Visio Strong analytical skills Teamwork and Leadership skills Manage and prioritize workload to meet deadlines Experience (Required) 8
years' experience as a supply chain or distribution center process engineer Experience with labor management, slotting and material handling equipment desired Technical and functional experience with Manhattan Open Systems suite desired Understanding and experience in project management and exposure to project management methodologies Additional Qualifications (behavioral traits, certifications, etc) Physical Requirements:
General office environment requiring ability to:
stand, walk, sit for extended periods of time speak and listen to others in person and over the phone use keyboard and read from computer screen and reports Lift up to 15 lbs.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $108,100 - $162,100 depending on location, knowledge, skills, education and experience.
This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

Associates will accrue paid time off up to 200 hours per year (inclusive of PTO, floating holidays, and paid holidays).
