We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Permanent Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team.
The successful candidate will play an integral role in our Construction and Real Estate Litigation department.
This position offers an unparalleled opportunity to gain hands-on experience, working alongside seasoned professionals in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
You will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, providing expert legal advice to our clients, and representing their interests in court.
This position requires a deep understanding of construction law, real estate litigation, and the ability to navigate complex legal issues with ease and precision.
Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of construction and real estate litigation cases from inception through resolution.
Perform comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and court proceedings.
Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts, real estate agreements, and other legal documents.
Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend or prosecute in civil litigation.
Advise clients regarding ongoing litigation or to explain legal rights, obligations, and potential outcomes.
Develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
Collaborate with a team of attorneys and paralegals to ensure effective and efficient case management.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current laws, regulations, and industry trends related to construction and real estate litigation.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
Must be an active member in good standing with the state bar.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in litigation, with a specific focus on construction law and real estate litigation.
Proven track record of managing a large caseload, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
Exceptional research, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to resolve disputes and achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex legal arguments clearly and persuasively.
Demonstrated commitment to maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards.
Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
