Construction Superintendent - Commercial Projects
About the CompanyNationally known General Contractor is currently seeking Construction Superintendents at all levels to join their team.
Superintendents have an option to build with this top ENR General Contractor on Projects located within Arizona State or Mountain State Region.
Areas of Expertise Include:
Commercial Multifamily Industrial Healthcare Aviation Municipal Higher Education / K-12 Hospitality Class A Interiors Commercial Superintendent Job DescriptionSuperintendent will have overall responsibility for an assigned construction project in the verticals listed above with a value $20M
and a proven track record on safety, quality, budgeting and scheduling.
Manage the activities of subcontractors, vendors, and labor, maintaining strict control over the accuracy and quality for each work activity.
Plan look-ahead schedules, maintain project schedule controls.
Identify and report problems or deficiencies to the Director / project executives Document on-site activities that may impede progress or compliance to project/contract requirements Review subcontract agreements Maintain strict control over the budget for each work activity Assist in preparation of project status report and provide complete daily reports to the Project Manager.
Select Responsibilities for Multifamily/ Commercial Candidates:
Verticals include but are not limited to multifamily apartments, healthcare, mixed-use, k-12/higher education, Hospitality, and High-rise projects.
A minimum of 5 years of construction experience as a Superintendent on projects valued over $20M The capability of maintaining and following a Critical Path project schedule A thorough understanding of and ability to maintain a current, complete set of project documents, blueprints, revisions, specifications, and related items General computer skills, willingness to expand the use of new technologies for scheduling and reports.
Ideal Multifamily/ Commercial CandidateMinimum of 5
years Ground Up New Construction experience leading projects $20M
in the Multi-family and commercial industry.
Projects led should include the Ground Up New Construction, Retrofit, and Major Renovation scopes of work.
Please include a PL of most recent completed or ongoing projects.
