on site in Pittsburgh, PA or in Cleveland, OH or in Birmingham, AL Senior Desktop Engineering Specialist / Enterprise Desktop Infrastructure Support Engineer :
Desktop Engineering team covers all IT technology applications outside the data center including PCs, mobile devices, VDI solutions, conference rooms, and collaborative technologies and specifically responsible for desktop and laptop management, core software, PC build processes, security, hardening, and overseeing major projects affecting the PC environment - Support major projects like AutoPilot and InTune, manage routine BAU activities such as driver and firmware management, and provide fourth-level escalated support.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of our desktop and laptop management processes - Work closely with the Security, Architecture, and Testing teams Qualifications :
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field is preferred, though an Associate's degree combined with relevant experience will also be considered - Minimum 5 years of experience in desktop engineering working in a large organization within a large-scale environment ( >10,000 PCs ) - Hands-on experience with hardware from leading manufacturers (Dell, Lenovo, HP) and proficiency in managing BIOS/firmware/driver updates - Proficiency in modern desktop technologies including Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, OneDrive, Userstate, Virtualization, Office 365, etc - Experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager ( SCCM ) and advanced PowerShell scripting skillsPlease send me your details (resume, work authorization status, current location, availability and compensation expectations) directly to:
