Information Technology Asset Manager

Our client is seeking an IT Asset Warehouse Specialist to support the It Asset Management Lifecycle using ITIL methodology and ServiceNow workflows.
This is a contract role with a hybrid schedule located in Phoenix, AZ.
Under general supervision, the IT Warehouse Specialist is responsible for supporting the implementation, optimization, and governance of the lifecycle of IT Assets in the environment.

10 monthsRequired Skills & Experience This position requires a High School diploma or GED.
This position requires a minimum of 3-5 years of Asset Management experience.
Extensive knowledge of IT Hardware/Software/Mobile assets, including tracking, forecasting, and refresh projects.
Experience with ServiceNow, SAP & MS Office Suite Detail oriented, efficient, and focused on continuous improvement Excellent Communication skills, both orally and written Demonstrated capability to achieve results through influencing and collaboration with Internal IT Departments and Customers.
Possess skills and experience in data analysis, charting and presenting business case reviews, using Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
Experience with Supply Chain, Vendor management and IT Asset Warehouse Operations Ability to work independently and in a team is vital.
Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, meet deadlines and present a professional demeanor is essential.
Ability to respond to different organizational situations while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude is necessary.
Maintaining confidentiality, treating others with respect and upholding Company values are key attributes.
Must have organizational and problem-solving skills, a can-do attitude, and the ability to adjust to changing requirements are essential.
Required Education and CertificationsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree, in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
Certified Software Asset Management (CSAM), Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional (CHAMP) and/or Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM).
ITIL Certification Daily ResponsibilitiesSupport IT Asset Management Lifecycle using ITIL methodology and ServiceNow workflows.
Support deployment and implementation of policies and procedures for inventory control, tracking, and reporting on IT assets throughout their lifecycle.
Make recommendations for optimizing IT Assets to achieve full efficiency and validate Return On Investment (ROI) and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
Execute Hardware and Software Asset Management, including Audits, Systemic and Physical inventories, Monthly Reports and Forecasting.
Track and maintain hardware assets, software licenses, warranties, maintenance agreements, and vendor contracts related to IT Assets.
Research industry best practices and compare against the organizations practices establishing benchmarks for managing IT assets.
Effectively communicate asset management strategies to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
Deliver reporting requirements related to Finance and Operational requests, including operating metrics, weekly and monthly key performance Indicators.
Provide trend analysis and make recommendations for Asset Management and Service Management process improvements.
Procurement of IT Assets, including PO Tracking and working closing with IT Warehouse Operations team.
Complete work in a timely manner while providing exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
Support various IT Projects and Project Coordination efforts.
Other duties as assigned.
