Responsibilities:
o Field Investigations:
Conduct thorough geotechnical site investigations, including soil and rock sampling, groundwater assessments, and subsurface exploration.
Oversee field testing and instrumentation installations to gather critical data for project assessments.
o Office-Based Analysis:
Perform geotechnical analysis and interpret field data to generate comprehensive reports and recommendations.
Utilize advanced software and modelling tools to assess soil behaviour, foundation design, and slope stability.
o Project Management:
Lead and manage geotechnical projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate geotechnical considerations into overall project planning.
o Client Interaction:
Interact with clients to understand project requirements, discuss findings, and provide expert recommendations.
Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications:
o Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
o Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
o Proficiency in geotechnical software and modelling tools.
