Essential Functions:
Assist in the Assembly area as needed, according to directions.
Read blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation, to help build to those specifications.
Use various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
Perform basic repairs when needed.
Inventory tools, parts, and supplies and contact materials handler if supplies are needed.
Ensure product quality to help resolve and identify problems and alert Team Leader or Supervisor.
Perform other related duties as assigned Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
Able to use UKG application.
Detail-oriented and consistent.
Work well as a productive member of a team.
Ability to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipment.
Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing in English.
Basic understanding of production procedures Must have excellent hand-eye coordination with manual dexterity to assemble products or machines as directed.
Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.
g.
constant use of protective gear) Education and
Experience:
High School Diploma or GED Prior assembly or manufacturing experience Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites.
The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud and hearing protection must be worn.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
The employee may frequently lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Experience Preferred 1 year(s):
oAssembly line or manufacturing metal products experience.
oAbility to use measuring equipment.
oWorking with and be able to interpret drawings and specifications to assemble various metal products.
o Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Education Required High School or better Preferred Technical/other training or better.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
