Payroll Process Manager, $65-75k/year, (Multi-state Exp)

Vaco has partnered with a software organization in their search for a strong Payroll professional with Multi-state experience who will run the entire payroll process from A-Z for roughly 150-200 employeesThis role is hybrid, with 2-3 days on-site per week.Main Areas of Focus:
Hourly pay rate differential Manual Calculations Hands on Experience with 401K PTO Monitoring Gross Ups General understanding of W2/1099 and other tax-related topics Job
Responsibilities:
Process payroll and reimbursements for all employees and contractors accurately and on time Administer equity compensation plans, including managing equity awards, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements in collaboration with Legal Prepare role-related reports and update forecasting models Respond to role-related inquiries from employees and leadership Ensure compliance with relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations Assist with month-end closing processes, including preparing associated payroll and accounts payable journal entries, as applicable Administer and monitor benefit programs, policies, and procedures. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
