The candidate for this role will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Corporate warehouse, ensuring efficient and accurate handling and distribution of shipments, both receiving and and shipping goods to overseas factories, upkeep and organization of the warehouse, working with multiple managers on sample product coming in, opening, staging, repackaging, and stocking the sample merchandise.
The candidate must be computer savvy, a self-starter and able to self-manage along with take direction, organize, and prioritize workload of goods and materials.
This is a crucial role in our organization, as you will play a key part in supporting the Merchandising team and preparation of regional product trade shows.
Duties Open, Organize & Stage Inbound/Outbound Sample Product; Product will need to be unpacked/packed, and hand delivered accordingly for merchandiser review.
Then repacked and stored in accordance with Brand Manager direction, Pre-Production, Production, Show Samples, Communicate any abnormal findings to intended recipient, damaged or unidentifiable product Pack and Catalog Outbound Showroom Product; According to Process, Identify and address potential vulnerabilities Store or Dispose of Packaging Material, Boxes, Foam Fill, Tape, etc.
Excellent planning, organizational, and analytical skills, coupled with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities Strong multitasking and time management skills.
Comfortable working on several tasks simultaneously Strong computer experience using spreadsheet and word processing software Self-disciplined individual with strong work ethic, self-starter Ability to identify problems and offer real world resolutions within constrained timelines Having a sense of urgency, without overlooking critical details Skills To excel in this role, you must possess the following skills:
Minimum three years of supervisory warehouse experience Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Outlook Calendar, Excel and Word Strong verbal and written communication skills Proactive problem solver.
Professional telephone etiquette Professional personal appearance Enthusiastic and energetic attitude Ability to travel out of state to coordinate trade show setups Self starter able to work and complete goals with minimal supervision Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
