Phoenix, AZ Salary - $35 - $38 per hour
benefits 1 Shift, 10hrs, Sunday - Wednesday.
The Building Engineer will complete assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs to electrical & HVAC systems across a large private healthcare facility.
Responds to other emergency situations, performing tasks necessary.
Assists in emergencies as needed.
Our client's facility is a locally renowned healthcare facility spread across a 22 acre site.
The site opened in 1983 and in 2008 began the process of a $588 million multi year expansion.
Essential Functions Maintains and performs repairs to buildings, utilities, grounds and electrical equipment Records all pertinent data in building logbooks and makes all appropriate daily entries.
Coordinates parts, supplies, and equipment from local vendors and inventory.
Performs procedures and tasks and other routine maintenance duties.
Fosters a work environment that promotes energy conservation and continuous improvement of engineering functions.
Troubleshoot with gauges As appropriate, records all pertinent data in building logbooks and makes all appropriate daily entries.
Process administrative paperwork in accordance to departmental policies and procedures.
Demonstrates commitment to quality of service.
Complies with Engineering Services and facility policies and procedures.
Requirements Experience with HVAC systems EPA Universal license Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in maintenance Experience with electrical & HVAC works Previous experience working in a healthcare environment (Desirable) COVID Vaccinated If this position is of interest, please apply directly or reach out to jake @hvacrecruitment.

In person Lead the execution of building commissioning projects Perform field observations existing building conditions Handle building automation systems for small to complex projects Motivate employees by developing team building activities Support any after hours building related activity Assist with forensic investigations of building envelope failures Conceptualize, calculate, engineer and document building systems Exhibit familiarity with local and national building codes Provide reactive and proactive solutions for building automation Handling designing building automation systems for laboratories or data centers Keep abreast of current building systems technology and renewable resources Help enhance building automation systems and transition to new product lines Manage the daily work activities for personnel of the building automation systems shop Asked for involvement in budget preparations associated with the building maintenance expenses Plan and implement with approval, modifications and improvements to building systems Streamline all building automation system activities through the responsible zone maintenance manager Drafting fabrication/construction drawings of pre-engineered metal building via MBS Attend internal/external technical courses/seminars related to building engineer work Understand and interpret building codes, construction drawings and specification Inspect new installation for compliance with building codes and safety regulations Recommended Skills Architectural Engineering Carpentry Hvac Mechanical Systems Plumbing Property Maintenance Apply to this job.
