This is a hybrid role; Hybrid colleagues work a mix of in-office and virtual days, coming into the office 3
days per week on average.

The Role This role is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of how American Express prioritizes, designs, and builds products that customers love while driving engagement, collaboration, and innovation across the enterprise.
We are seeking a Program Manager to join Technology Business Management's Value Co-Creation Team.
Value Co-Creation (VCC) is an enterprise-wide initiative with the goal of transforming our ways of working together across Business, Product and Technology functions to drive enhanced customer value and business outcomes faster.
Examples of new ways of working will include, but not limited to:
enhanced collaboration and co-creation across business, product, and technology through all stages of product development cycle; ensuring alignment with architecture frameworks and standards and SDLC controls; evolving investment portfolio planning, capacity management and execution oversight to enable the key tenets of the value co creation model.
This Program Manager will be a member of the VCC Program Team, a team that will provide program governance, coordinate cross-functionally and lead the overall transformation.
This team will also be responsible for designing and delivering change management, education, and communications to ensure successful adoption of the new ways of working across Business, Product, and Technology.
Key to the overall program s success will be the partnerships formed across Technology, Business and Product leaders, engaging them in the design and implementation of new processes and techniques, as well as the formation and support of value-stream aligned teams that will adopt the new ways of working to scale across the enterprise.
What you ll do:
This role is responsible for VCC's program management and change management.
The program manager in this role will be instrumental in shaping and executing the program roadmap, implementing scale-up efforts, and overall program tracking and governance support.
Specifically, this program manager will:
Manage the implementation roadmap and collaborate with Business, Product and Technology leads who are driving the adoption of new ways of working in their areas Work closely within and across business units to manage day-to-day scale-up activities, tracking overall progress, timeline management, and proactively identifying risks and escalating if necessary Actively maintain VCC artifact library and key artifact templates in addition to updating the VCC playbook on an ongoing-basis to account for new processes, best practices and learnings from rolling adoption Drive the critical change management aspects of this transformation, including creating roadshow materials, coordinating and drafting communications, creating training plan and overseeing training facilitators Track outcomes around productivity, engagement, and report overall program success metrics, producing regular executive reporting Minimum
Qualifications:

years of project management and change management experience working on high priority, large scale, cross-functional strategic initiatives Experience navigating complex organizational structures and managing cross-functional stakeholder relationships Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills High-quality presentation skills with an attention to detail Ability to quickly adapt to change while continuing to make progress towards program goals Comfort interfacing with leadership and executive-level audience Demonstrated track record of driving results across multiple channels and initiatives in a fast paced and dynamic environment Foundational and working knowledge of product development life cycle and agile delivery methodologies QualificationsSalary Range:
