Enterprise Platforms mission is to transform the delivery of customer-centric platform solutions for American Express to spectacularly improve our speed to market, agility and transparency while delivering world-class solutions to our customers.
The Global Accounts Receivable (Global AR) team in Enterprise Platforms plays a key role in the development of new card and non-card products, benefit programs, and lending and commerce initiatives that deepen customer engagement, help grow revenue and increase member value.
The Global AR Product team is responsible for setting and carrying out the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our software products.
We are looking for a Director of Digital Product Management to support our modernization journey, enabling our markets to leverage new technology that will provide flexibility, scalability, and speed to market.
Responsibilities:
Establish and socialize a global platform product and capability vision, strategy, roadmap and features for owned scope with ambitious clearly defined business metrics and targets.
Communicate and build consensus across multiple departments in creating the product roadmap.
Establish a balance between the requirements of customers, stakeholders and engineering work.
Establish features and investments across businesses and resolve prioritization conflicts when they occur.
Partner with product and technology leaders in the US and International markets to deploy globally scalable solutions, ensuring continuous focus on best in class user experiences, opportunities to test and learn, efficient resource usage, product quality and speed to market.
Lead the platform product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical execution in close partnership with technology teams.
Leverage agile best practices to assess feasibility of ideas, create product constructs and innovative capabilities that power best in class products for our customers and business.
Lead multiple high-profile initiatives, ensuring consistent collaboration with key partners and clear communication of strategy, program status, roadmaps and prioritization trade-offs.
Obtain feedback on products and capabilities to iterate and drive improvements in future releases.
Prioritize feature set continuously based on customer feedback, research learnings and analytics to maximize customer and shareholder value.
Maintain pulse on external driven products and continuously feed learnings back into the products and team.
Champion and implement groundbreaking product, technology, and processes innovations.
Coordinate the efforts of a large Agile team (stakeholders, engineers, designers, analytics) to deploy the platform enhancements across products.
Evangelize the platform product and capabilities to stakeholders; shepherd initiatives through the development process, advocating to achieve the best outcomes.
Enable analytics-driven decision making to evolve products and usage; produce ROI analyses and optimization recommendations.
Qualifications:
At least eight years of demonstrated ability in product development and delivery with proven track record in defining winning product constructs and delivering a product roadmap.
A good balance of technical knowledge and business acumen with a proven track record in launching software or services in partnership with engineering teams while maintaining a customer-first attitude.
High degree of proficiency in OKR, Design Thinking, Event Storming, prototyping, iterative development, Scrum, Agile product development.
Enthusiasm and passion for great products and services and an ability to articulate product vision and functionality.
Strong multi-business unit stakeholder management, with experience working with cross functional product development teams.
Results driven mindset with a proven track record to prioritize and deliver against multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners to drive collaboration and alignment.
Ability to solve sophisticated problems and a highly analytical approach.
Consistent track record in running large, complex software projects with multiple stakeholders and maintaining a loosely coupled, highly aligned culture.
Deep knowledge of Payments, Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Card and Non-Card Lending.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
