Be part of a team that designs, develops, and integrates highly complex software functions within Honeywell Anthem Next -Generation Avionics Display Systems. You will be a key member of our (NGA) Next-Generation Anthem Avionics group, responsible for designing, developing and implementing advanced software solutions for cutting-edge avionics technology that enhance the situational awareness and decision-making capabilities of pilots.

In this role, you will impact the aviation industry by developing innovative software solutions that improve the functionality, reliability, and enhance user experience of avionics display systems.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
  • 4 years of experience in software development and/or Avionics.
WE VALUE
  • Understanding various software development life cycles, methodologies and tools.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python and/or Open GL.
  • Experience developing software in a Real-Time Operating System
  • Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices.
  • Experience with Avionics products desirable i.e. Avionics Displays & Graphics, Flight Mgmt, Flight Planning, Flight Controls, Flight Displays (PFD), Traffic Collision Avoidance (TCAS), Crew Alert Messaging (CAS), Terrain, Radios, etc
  • Experience operating in an Agile framework desired
  • Can quickly analyze, incorporate, and apply new information and concepts.
