Job Description:

  • Supports mid level complexity testing, troubleshooting, and diagnostic analysis for failed PCB (printed circuit boards), assemblies or subassemblies.
  • Usually, will troubleshoot to board or component level and repair.


Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting electrical circuit boards down to component level with the use of test equipment, thorough visual inspection, and common electrical circuit fault analysis comprehension.
  • Must posses a solid background with electronic circuit design, analysis, and real time electrical calculations.
  • Strong understanding of electronic circuit fundamentals with a comprehensive knowledge of schematic review for diagnostic examination typically used during circuit failure exploration.
  • Deep familiarity with common circuitry basics and industry standards typical for most filter, signal, and power related circuit applications commonly used throughout many aerospace electrical designs.
  • Experience with continuous improvement processes and tools (e.

    Six Sigma, Lean, etc.
    )
  • Perform electronic test functions typical in verifying the reliability and functionality of aerospace manufactured products by using common electronics test skills.
  • Setting up and operating various test stands.
  • Configuring test equipment for special tests as needed
  • Interpreting and recording test results
  • Recognizing and isolating test equipment failures
  • Using diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electronic units to the sub-assembly and component level.
  • Reading and interpreting technical data such as component maintenance manuals, engineering prints, and schematics
  • Effectively communicating work status to team members and support staff (e.
    g.
    shift pass down, engineering, maintenance).

Requirements:

  • Understand theory of electronic circuitry and electrical components.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical data.
  • Ability to write in a clear and concise technical manner.

Education:

  • Certification / Degree in Electronics or related discipline.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
