As a Production Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our manufacturing processes. You will collaborate closely with various teams to optimize production schedules, manage materials, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key
Responsibilities:
Participate with SIOP Supply Coordination for department: Actively engage in Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) processes to align production plans with demand forecasts.
Maintain Master Production Schedule: Develop and manage the Master Production Schedule to ensure efficient utilization of resources while meeting customer demands.
Engage in materials planning process: Work closely with procurement and inventory teams to forecast material requirements and ensure timely availability of materials for production.
Coordinate with planning, quality, and engineering teams: Collaborate cross-functionally to address production challenges, ensure product quality, and implement engineering changes effectively.
Continuous improvement plans: Identify opportunities for process optimization and lead initiatives to improve production efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
Interacts with factory floor: Maintain a strong presence on the factory floor to monitor production progress, address issues, and provide guidance to production teams.
Escalates identified risks: Proactively identify potential risks to production schedules and escalate issues to management for timely resolution.
Data analysis: Analyze production data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
YOU MUST HAVE:
Experience in production or supply planning.
Experience and expertise with MRP/ERP Systems (SAP preferred).
WE VALUE:
Supply Chain Management knowledge.
Experience with SIOP and production scheduling processes.
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Strong computer applications skills (Excel, Access).
Knowledge of manufacturing planning processes.
Knowledge in lean, six sigma tools, and problem-solving methodology.
Ability to mentor junior members of the planning team.


Pay Details: $25.00 per hour

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
