Tax Director
A rapidly growing private accounting and tax firm located in the Phoenix valley is needing a Tax Director. This role requires you come with experience in leading a department, overseeing the teams work and providing strategic tax planning services to their clients. The other things that are required is a great attitude, being motivated, well-organized, and possesses a strategic mindset. Additionally, the ideal candidate should have extensive experience in tax return preparation and handling tax returns for individuals, corporations, trusts, and partnerships. Work Environment:

Responsibilities:
Prepare and review individual, corporation, trust, and partnership tax returns accurately and efficiently.Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, staying updated with the latest changes and advising clients accordingly.Provide expert tax advice and guidance to clients, addressing their specific needs and optimizing their tax positions.Manage and supervise a team of tax professionals, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities for clients and maximize tax efficiency.Conduct research on complex tax issues and provide innovative solutions to meet clients' unique requirements.Collaborate with other departments and external stakeholders to deliver integrated financial services and seamless client experiences.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, post-graduate degree is a plus. CPA - required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting and client management. Strong understanding of federal and state tax laws and regulations. Excellent leadership and team management skills along with communication and interpersonal skills.
