How will you make an impact in this role?We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to join the American Express Technology Delivery Excellence Organization.
In this role, you will be responsible for working in partnership with Engineering and Product teams to manage execution and delivery of software to market.
This role uses Agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage deliver solutions, while gaining insights and fostering continuous improvement in the teams.
Leverages technical knowledge to drive delivery of multi-disciplinary programs across technical, regulatory, and business requirements--from beginning to end.
Translates business objectives into execution strategy.
Anticipates, tracks, and resolves risks, dependencies, and impediments to project delivery.
Responsibilities:
Steers execution on defined, program-level goals for medium-to-high complexity programsWorks within and across team(s) to anticipate, track, and resolve risks and impediments to deliveryFacilitates Agile events and ceremonies that help the Engineering team deliver value incrementally and iteratively; embeds Agile ways of working.
Drives the team's contribution throughout the Program Increment (PI) through coaching and facilitating team level events.
Raises and provides visibility around gaps, impediments, risks, and dependencies.
Ensures impediments are visible and tracked through to resolution, escalating when necessary.
Fosters practices for identifying, tracking, and resolving cross-team dependencies within the team.
Tracks and interprets relevant OKR/KPIs; identifies key insights & next stepsParticipates in PI planning meetings and other Agile ceremonies for team/teams.
Contributes to prioritization discussions and pressure tests plans for feasibility, capacity, and riskDrives coordination, collaboration, and alignment between Product Owners, Architects, and Engineers to meet regulatory and technical requirementsMonitors and ensures compliance with SDLC standardsFacilitates and plans change management and release management activities Minimum
Qualifications:

years in Program Delivery and Project Management 3
years of Scrum Master/Agile Champion experienceExperience delivering Data management related projects / programsPreferred
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology Strong facilitation and communication skills.
Ability and aptitude to learn new technical skills quicklyStrong understanding of organizational, product, and industry standard metricsAbility to leverage metrics to diagnose problems and improve deliveryStrong ability to manage change in a dynamic environment and influence others without direct authorityTechnical knowledge sufficient to understand and discuss technical challenges and systems designPMP Certification or SAFe Certification QualificationsSalary Range:
$110,000.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
