Operates systems and performs technical quality control on selected digital video media. Maintains, verifies or produces paperwork, programming and operational procedures. Performs crisis management on all programming issues.
responsible
for departmental requirements of on air operations. May be required to provide oversight and training of staff. Proficient in all tasks of all junior positions. Assigns tasks and balances workload of all subordinate department positions.
Responsible for coordinating live event programming.
Troubleshoots problems involving signal path, media, programming and logs.
Ensures effective communications and service excellence between the Broadcast Operations.
Team and internal/external customers including program providers and corporate departments.
Reports, reviews, and determines impact of outages and recommends preventative/corrective actions.
Prepares reports for external use detailing technical discrepancies.
Maintains logs and inputs data into established databases and assists in the development of new databases.
Ensures escalation procedures to report non-conforming media are followed.
Participates in the development and implementation of processes, procedures, and training materials while providing mentoring and training to junior members of the team.
Recommends policies for the effective operation of the department.
Other duties as required.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
High school degree or equivalent
Two years of experience in a retail environment or customer call center
Must be able to work a rotating schedule as dictated by the needs of the business
Must be able to respond calmly in a crisis situation
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Five years of experience in a retail environment or customer call center
Associate's degree
