JOB
Summary:
Operates the manufacturing process equipment according to the written specifications. Performs in-process inspections, tests and critical dimension measurements to insure quality within the specification guidelines. Records results in manual logbooks, statistical process control (SPC) software or some other type of PC software. Monitors supplies and materials for shortages and expiration dates. Monitors calibration dates on equipment and tools. Tracks product flow through the process.

Utilizes specialized job skills in accordance with processes and procedures to complete a wide range of assignments. Work assignments are moderately complex in nature where judgment, versatility and initiative are required to resolve problems and make routine recommendations. The ability to recognize deviations from the accepted processes and procedures is required.

The individual will monitor and support the production methods and processes. The position will require interfacing with both internal (Maintenance and Engineering) and external customers (tool and material suppliers) on manufacturing issues.

No direct supervision is exercised in the work place. However, guidance or work direction may, on occasion, be given to other individuals. Normally receives no instructions on routine work. New assignments require general to detailed instructions.

DUTIES &
Responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor and support day-to-day manufacturing.
- Prepare production materials including mixing of chemicals as necessary.
- Complete the taking of production sand statistical process control data.
- Supply input to production documentation including fabrication drawings, bill of materials, work instructions and process documents.
- Train, as required, other operators on the operation of the process equipment.
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

REQUIRED
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years manufacturing experience in semiconductor/consumer
electronics
cleanroom environment
- Proficient in Microsoft office: Outlook, Excel, Word, data entry
- Fluent with computers and Microsoft Windows OS
- Basic microscope knowledge
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, fractions, decimals, percentages)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- An understanding of clean room protocol, procedures and material safety data sheet (MSDS) is required
- Able to work independently as well as in a group environment
- Must have excellent manual dexterity; able to manipulate very small parts with tweezers and other instruments
- Excellent eyesight; vision correctable with glasses is acceptable; no contacts
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be flexible: daily activities can and will change
- Current shift is M-F 7:00 am -3:30pm; must be willing and able to work overtime as needed including weekends

PREFERRED
Qualifications:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment supporting production in the LCoS, semiconductor or PCB industry
- AS or BS in technical field
- SPC or ISO 9000 training/certification
- Hands on experience with wafer handling, die packaging or electronic testing

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
