Developer / Team Lead

Position Overview
We are in the process of integrating our robust, mature back office application with several new systems and looking for the right software developer to join our team. Developer will update existing and create new applications for proprietary enterprise systems using both traditional iSeries development techniques plus Web services and JDBC techniques natively on the iSeries. This position will report to the Programming Manager, work independently and collaboratively with other programming team members.
Qualifications
This candidate must demonstrate proficiency with software development on the IBM series i.
Proficiency writing RPGLE, CLLE, DDS
Design, tune, and write queries for new and existing data structures
Aware of security protocols (XSS, SQL Injection)
Ability to write clean and modular code
Convert project specifications into functional flow charts
Write easy to follow documentation for future updates and upgrades
Provide technical consultations with department leads
Lead technical components of development projects from conception to launch
Ability to work on multiple projects under deadline
Skills in other technologies a plus ( Java, C++, SQL, .NET,HTML)
Skills and
Experience:
Ideal applicant will have experience with JDA, iSeries, AS400
5-8 yrs Programming Experience
Experience with XML or equivalent EDI Integration
Experience of creating data structures and writing SQL queries
Experience with systems development and database architecture
Retail experience a plusP
