Summary:
Information Security plays a crucial part to the safety of our organization. The Division of Technology Services (DTS) is seeking a dedicated and highly motivated individual to join our Information Risk Management (IRM) Administration. You will be joining an expanding and close knit team of 12 managers, engineers, project managers and analysts and report directly to the IRM Engineering manager.
This position will require a detail oriented individual with strong written and oral communication skills as well as a strong technical background. You will employ your customer service, problem solving and analytical skills to maintain partnerships with our customers, employees and vendors. You will need to have a strong understanding of standards and requirements in Enterprise Security with a primary focus on using Sourcefire and SNORT based systems. You will be actively engaged in identifying unique system characteristics of security needs at system/network points and security zones as well as assess potential risk to determine appropriate solutions.
