SENIOR HELP DESK TECHNICIAN
(Sr. Service Desk Analyst)
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Working with our Support Center team, you will maintain personal computers, printers, scanners and peripheral devices throughout the agency. You will be answering incoming calls and responding to e-mails, completing approved IT work orders, making necessary software and equipment upgrades, and PC hardware adjustments.
WHAT YOU WILL OFFER
Extensive field experience and advanced troubleshooting skills
Strong time management skills and ability to work where concentration may be difficult due to distractions, interruptions and changing priorities
Working knowledge of operating systems including Microsoft Windows 7 and applications such as Microsoft Office 2010
Ability to adapt quickly in a very dynamic and changing environment
Demonstrated ability to provide varied technical support services in a mid-sized, multi-site organization
Ability to read, interpret and analyze users' requests and business forms
Strong organizational and writing skills sufficient to prepare administrative and technical documentation for use by IT staff and agency end-users
Acute listening skills
Effective interpersonal skills in dealing with customers, with an emphasis on communicating with tact and diplomacy
Ability to write administrative and technical documentation for use by IT and support staff
Knowledge of Local Area Networks and ability to learn network design principles is beneficial, but not required

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
