Our fast growing but well established client runs a high-volume consumer internet business. To continue their growth they need a strong Online Marketing Manager with Media/Ad buying experience and strong experience with Google Adwords, Google Analytics, and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) experience.
Description: This high energy role will require the candidate to:
Implement a significant online / web media / ad buying budget with the goal to drive traffic to our client's site.
Utilize Google Adwords/Analytics to assess, manage, and optimize the effectiveness of the marketing budget.
Perform business analysis to analyze the ROI of the media/ad investment and to optimize ROI.
Possess the energy to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment in a team environment.
Analyze and optimize banner to achieve the highest click-through rates
Analyze and optimize landing pages to achieve the highest conversion rates
Requirements:
Web / Online media / ad buying experience
Google Adwords / Google Analytics experience and expertise (certification a huge plus)
Search engine marketing and pay-per-click analysis and optimization experience
Financial analysis and optimization skills (business planning using Excel).
Solid people skills and communications skills (written and oral)
Candidates must thrive in a fast-paced environment
Bachelors degree preferred (ideally in fields such as business, marketing, communications, or similar).
While this is a varied multipurpose role, your primary responsibility would be to build, optimize as well as perform the general day to day management our paid search accounts (Google AdWords & Bing Ads). Your secondary responsibility would be working with our forward thinking marketing and web development team to suggest improvements for better organic search engine results through the use of effective search engine optimization techniques and analytical tools, including Google Analytics.
Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated, focused and data driven individual with strong experience and a clear mindset of the best way to channel potential customers from their initial search through to the conversion step using methods that outperforms our competitors on every level.
This position requires a minimum of 2 years of paid search account management (Google AdWords, Bing etc.) and 2 years of search engine optimization (SEO) experience.
Responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:
Daily management of our paid search accounts (Google AdWords & Bing Ad Center) with an ecommerce emphasis on finding the right strategies to drive an acceptable cost per conversion relative to the average order values of those specific campaigns and products
Writing effective, engaging and call to action PPC ad copy, with support and guidance provided by the marketing team to help you clearly understand our niche automotive markets
Usage of SEO tools and other means including Google Webmaster Tools to directly implement as well as clearly explain optimal changes to the rest of the team for better organic search placement
Provide data driven feedback using a variety of analytical tools (including Google Analytics) regarding implementation of product landing pages, A/B testing as well as additional relevant advice for further improvement of our websites
Upload and maintain our product feeds to the Google & Bing Merchant Centers as well as provide daily monitoring for any feed disruptions
Monthly paid search reporting to demonstrate successes and current challenges to management with metrics including ROI of campaigns, account spending, CPC and more
Stay up to date with the latest changes in PPC/SEO best practices, new technologies as well as search engine algorithm changes

Qualifications:

years of managing PPC accounts including but not limited to Google AdWords, Bing etc.
2
years of search engine optimization (SEO) experience
Google AdWords Certifications (Fundamentals, Advanced Search, Advanced Display, Shopping exams)
Deep understanding of Google Analytics and the ability to clearly recommend ideas and changes to the rest of the team as well as management for further improvement of our customer's user experience and conversion rates.
Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills including an understanding of pivot tables
Self-motivated and data obsessed with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly present ideas and changes to your team as well as management
Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time while still being able to maintain an excellent attention to detail
References regarding your performance as an account manager are required.
Candidates Who Possess The Following Skills and/or Experience Will Receive Priority Consideration:
Experience with BigCommerce and/or Network Solutions platforms
Successfully passed the Google Analytics Individual Qualification (IQ) exam
Possess a Google AdWords Video Advertising Certification
Experience managing large paid search accounts for ecommerce retailers
Possess a Bing Ads Certification
Experience creating and managing targeted Facebook Ads
Basic HTML, CSS and/or JavaScript skills
Experience using SEO tools such as Raven Tools, Moz etc.
