Overview

The Office of Institutional Effectiveness is tasked with managing an electronic assessment management system (AMT) and related processes and functionalities.


The Assessment Systems Manager is the ATM account manager for all the colleges and schools and the technical liaison for technology departments within the University. This role will frame opportunities for improvement (process and or technical), support improvement initiates, Provide new user training, manage access and report functionality.


Responsibilities

  • Assists in design and development efforts of AMT functionalities, including assessment documentation and reporting, accreditation, field experience including affiliation agreement management, etc.

  • Assists in AMT administration and supports technical liaising between Office of Assessment and technology departments.

  • Works with colleges/schools to understand current standard operating procedures and write user stories to better support their needs within the AMT.

  • Writes business requirements for AMT functionality and ensures proper implementation by technology departments and assessment vendors.

  • Provides day-to-day AMT user support, including troubleshooting AMT user issues and addressing access issues.

  • Responds to escalated TAC tickets regarding the AMT.

  • Provides regular focused AMT trainings.

  • Assists in designing and implementing processes for assessing programmatic student learning outcomes, university learning goals, and general education, as well as assessment of student support services units, centers, and offices.

  • Supports the College of Education student teaching and field experience evaluation processes.

  • Performs other duties as assigned or apparent.


Qualifications

Basic
Qualifications:



  • Master's degree in Education, Business, Technology, or related field required

  • Two years of experience in higher education required

  • Two years of experience in outcomes-based assessment of student learning and institutional effectiveness required

  • Some travel may be required


Additional
Qualifications:



  • Experience with TK20 preferred.

  • Experience with Blackboard and or LMS preferred.

  • Higher education teaching experience preferred.

  • Experience in developing and conducting workshops for administrative staff preferred.

  • Strong experience with electronic assessment management systems, ePortfolios, learning platforms

  • Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines

  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Proven knowledge in project management software applications

  • Strong analytic, organization, and project management skills

  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
