Senior Director, Business Development

POSITION SUMMARY
Aetna Medicaid Senior Business Development Director is responsible for identifying, developing and executing on a growth strategy that results in new Medicaid managed care contracts and expansion of current business contracts within the Western and Midwestern United States. Working with state health policymakers, providers and stakeholders, this position represents Aetna's capabilities in managing care for the most complex and vulnerable Medicaid beneficiaries while helping states manage the cost of their Medicaid programs.
Fundamental Components:
Identifies potential Medicaid managed care growth opportunities
Develops and executes on strategy to win new business and grow current business and contracts. Travel is 75% of the time.
Works with internal Aetna colleagues to develop products and offerings to meet evolving market needs and respond to current market issues. 10% of the time.
Prepares proposals, analysis, briefing books, white papers and presentations to reflect Aetna Medicaid capabilities in response to state health issues and successfully turns this work into business contracts. 10% of the time.
Other duties as assigned. 5% of the time.
BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:
10+years Medicaid managed care related experience
Significant business development transactional experience at a senior level, leading complex negotiations to a successful conclusion.
Proven group presentation skills.
Ability to work independently.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
Position may require up to 75%
EDUCATION
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
