Senior Water-Wastewater Project Manager

Overview / Responsibilities Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions in Phoenix is seeking a Senior Water-Wastewater Project Manager to be responsible for the successful execution of municipal and industrial water infrastructure projects. Wood desires a professional with a proven track record of managing design projects in a fast-paced consulting environment. The ideal candidate would have project management experience with industrial (mining) and municipal sector clients. Work will encompass the design of municipal and industrial water infrastructure projects; and entail all aspects of design-bid-build, design-build, and turn-key EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) projects. Key Responsibilities Manages and leads teams of multi-discipline professionals, including related services provided by subconsultants Responsible for budget, schedule, contractual obligations and quality standards Develop Project Management Plans, and coordinates with Project Support Personnel such as schedulers, project control, and procurement professionals Familiarity with codes and regulations related to water and wastewater industry Working knowledge in physical, chemical, biological processes, hydraulics, and principals of water and wastewater treatment plant design Must follow applicable health and safety procedures associated with the projects May travel frequently to project sites, including sites remote from the office, as part of project team Supports firm's relationships with client management personnel Identify needs for recruitment of new employees and participates in the hiring process Skills / Qualifications B.S. in Civil Engineering or other engineering discipline (M.S. or PhD a plus) Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE), preferably Arizona Greater than 12 years professional experience (exclusive of any advanced degree), and a minimum of 8 years managing multi-disciplinary water projects Experience includes water and/or wastewater treatment facilities, wastewater collection systems, water transmission/distribution projects, pipeline rehabilitation projects, master planning, and pump stations Ability to work in a team environment, and successfully interface with diverse personalities Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as presentations skills 3D BIM experience desirable Valid driver's license and insurable driving record Must pass drug test, background check, and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving (MVR) policy Company Overview Wood is a global leader in the delivery of project, engineering and technical services to energy and industrial markets. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
