INDUSTRIAL SECURITY SPECIALIST

As a INDUSTRIAL SECURITY SPECIALIST you will be responsible for the following duties:
Provide security oversight as the primary DoD security interface for cleared contractor facilities relative to the establishment and maintenance of a security program in compliance with the NISP and the DoD Arms, Ammunition & Explosive (AA&E) Program. Prepare after-action reports and formal correspondence outlining results to include serious or systemic deficiencies. Conduct appropriate follow up to ensure corrective actions are implemented. Ensure that contractors receive the proper advice and assistance in a timely manner, and that all contractors are in compliance with requirements set forth in security agreements and any other contractual or regulatory requirements. Facilitate integration of the counterintelligence (CI) methodology into administration of the NISP and provides CI information and guidance to internal and external stakeholders. Evaluate security requirements and impacts of foreign classified contracts, technical assistance agreements, foreign military sales, and transportation plans for direct commercial sales and export licenses (DSP-85s) on contractor facilities. Specialized experience required for this position is:
Demonstrated experience integrating counterintelligence principles into industrial security mission. Identify counterintelligence/operational security/information security concerns, to include assessing risks, and providing security countermeasure recommendations to mitigate the risk. Experience in investigative interviewing techniques and conducting interviews of personnel with diverse backgrounds. Provide security oversight for cleared contractor facilities relative to the establishment and maintenance of a security program. Ensures contractors are in compliance with requirements set forth in security agreements and any other contractual or regulatory requirements. Analyze and report on clearance and appeals findings to senior security officials and makes appropriate notifications. Problem Solving; Identifies and analyzes problems; weighs relevance and accuracy of information; seeks/generates and evaluates alternative perspectives/solutions; makes timely/ effective recommendations, based on potential implications of findings or conclusions. Critically evaluates to identify the causes of problems, and chooses courses of action that balance the interests of the mission and stakeholders. Resilience; Vulnerabilities Assessment and Management; Conduct assessments on threats and vulnerabilities, determine the level of risk, and develop and recommend appropriate mitigation countermeasures in operational and non-operational situations. Conduct assessments in a counterintelligence context to protect against espionage, other intelligence activities, and sabotage conducted for or on behalf of foreign powers, organizations or persons, or international terrorist activities. Vulnerabilities Assessment and Management; Conduct assessments on threats and vulnerabilities, determine the level of risk, and develop and recommend appropriate mitigation countermeasures in operational and non-operational situations. Conduct assessments in a counterintelligence context to protect against espionage, other intelligence activities, and sabotage conducted for or on behalf of foreign powers, organizations or persons, or international terrorist activities.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
