The Director of Commercial Launch Excellence is responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of all commercial launch readiness activities across Caris Life Sciences.
This position will be accountable for leading/managing a successful launch management team and will oversee multiple launches at a time.
This position requires a strategic thinker who can align on manageable timelines and milestones through collaboration across various levels and functions within the organization.
This individual is responsible for developing practical frameworks, tools, methodologies, and processes to drive excellence in pre & post launch execution across commercial functions.
The candidate will work with Caris cross-functional teams to co-create and implement tools that both simplify and accelerate the quality and timeliness of launch preparation and post-launch operational excellence of commercial launches.
He / She will also work closely with the internal R&D, product strategy and the broader marketing team, as well as external organizations to identify and apply new approaches to launches to better serve our customers and patients.
This individual will be an active member of Caris's senior marketing and strategy leadership team to shape and inform Caris's go to market commercial and business strategy.
She/He will have a general understanding of the oncology precision medicine landscape, a high business acumen and ability to influence, and the ability to proactively identify and resolve issues or needs related to commercial circumstance and market demands.

Responsibilities:
Support creation and implementation of tools that both simplify and accelerate the quality and timeliness of launch preparationAssist in establishing a consistent, reliable, repeatable approach for launch excellence for the full portfolio of Caris products and commercial needsSupport the full commercial team pre and post launch to plan, execute, and operationalize GTM strategies through key frameworks, processes and best practicesSupport the ongoing evaluation of key programs and processes for marketing and strategy across the portfolioPartner with marketing and strategy team to drive implementation of changes to existing campaigns and prioritiesEnsure launch & change management is done with proper monitoring, auditing and quality assuranceDevelop and maintain knowledge of various methodologies, regulations, processes, timelines, and general approach underlying the company's current and potential products, approvals and servicesCollaborate with Commercial Leadership, R&D/MA, regulatory, finance, legal and compliance.
Proactively identify, document and raise risks, inclusive of development of mitigation strategies and plansBe a champion of business improvement and change management to accelerate effectiveness and commercial successEffectively communicate and influence at the senior leader and executive level to ensure understanding, alignment and executionRequirements:
Knowledge, Skills, and ExperiencePrior health care leadership experience (in vitro diagnostic, medical device, pharmaceutical, etc.
), molecular science experience preferred Must be able to work across levels and functions (including, but not limited to Commercial teams, R&D, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Legal and Regulatory) in the organization to drive delivery of strategic decisions and prioritiesEffective leadership skills, including change management on projects/programsExperienced in establishing and cultivating relationships; able to collaborate effectively with key stakeholders and partners across the organizationAbility to work in a fast-paced team environment and handle multiple projects and tasksAbility to analyze problems, identify alternative solutions and implement recommendations for resolutionDemonstrated hands-on understanding of the current compliance environment including current regulations and standards from the FDA, CMS, OIG, and other regulatory and enforcement agencies in the health care marketplaceStrong executive presence, presentation, communication and leadership skillsProficient computer skills, which include Microsoft PowerPoint, Project, Excel and WordEducation, Certification/Licensure, and/or Experience8+ years of progressive business experience in the biotech/pharma industry with broad understanding of marketing, product strategy, sales, reimbursement and R&D/MA interface7+ years of change management and project management experienceDemonstrated success in multiple launches in the health care space across multidisciplinary and multilevel teamsAdvanced degree preferred (Ph.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
