Senior Account Manager K at Knight Transportation Phoenix, AZ

Primary Purpose and Essential Functions Incumbents provide customer account services to national, high exposure and/or major account(s).
Work in conjunction with other internal departments to achieve territorial balance of capacity and freight while achieving high service levels.
Build internal and external relationships that deliver compelling short and long-term customer value propositions and efficient means of moving our customer's freight.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 6am-4pm or 7am-5pm.
Address service concerns with teams and develop processes to prevent reoccurring issues.
Proactively communicate and provide creative solutions for customers when service is in jeopardy.
On-board new customers.
Ensure all info is accurate and inputted correctly.
Ensure all loads are meeting service requirementsStay current on rates and capacity and keep other departments and/or LOB's informed.
Engage with customers and develop new business opportunities that leverage all company services.
Ensure a successful hand off to next shift and those Customer Account Managers are informed of on-going concerns.
Produce quality opportunities through lead generation.
Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objective.
Skills:
Must be proficient with MS Office applications (excel, word, outlook, etc.
) Must possess outstanding telephone skills.
Must be able to set priorities.
Must possess excellent time management skills.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
Must be able to adapt to changing priorities.
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
Experience Required:
2 years' experience in Customer Service or Sales required.
Previous experience in transportation preferred.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
