Primary purpose:
Ensure all customers are paying full invoices within terms.
Credit Managers are responsible for working directly with customers and internal departments such as Billing, Operations and General Managers to establish proper set up, accurate billing/invoicing and prompt payments.
Create and establish trust by building a personal and professional relationship with every customer through verbal communicationProvide accurate, complete, and specific data to ensure the customer has everything necessary to resolve issues quickly and pay within termsEstablish clearly defined timelines and expectations for research and work to be completed and have relentless follow up until money is collected within termsProvide transparency throughout the collection process by having constant communication with each salesperson and operations team member about all issues with collection and billingProactively communicate with operations team members regarding issues and aging of loads and involve them on problems they can help resolveEnsure that credits and debits are treated equally on assigned book, so book is truly clean.
Send full aging's to customers at least monthly to ensure customer is aware of all billed and outstanding invoices.
Set an aggressive deadline for response from customer on aging so we can ensure payment within terms and allow Credit Manager to work through issues quicklyTake an active role in developing relationships with each biller for your book of accounts and know what is on the unbilled list to ensure loads are being billed timely and accuratelyKJL123.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
