To load the canoe simply place one end of the canoe onto the cross bar, then pick up the other end, tie around to the front of the vehicle and secure the canoe for travel. The canoe loader will swivel to allow for easy movement while supporting one end of the canoe. It includes an adapter bracket to allow for towing while using the canoe loader.
